The Trip Score
A score you can argue with.
Most travel scores are vibes with a number attached. The Trip Score is deterministic: the same inputs always produce the same score, every component is visible, and you can disagree with our weights because we publish them.
The quality gate comes first
Before scoring happens at all, a property must pass six independent verification checks — operating status, genuine quality, review trend, safety, image rights and booking reliability. A failed check cannot be compensated by a high score anywhere else, and no amount of commission changes any of this. Only then does the Trip Score rank what remains:

What the score is not
It is not influenced by commission, sponsorship or how good a property’s photography is. It is not generated by an AI guessing prices or travel times — every factual input comes from checked sources, and where we estimate, we label it. And it is never a substitute for the gate: an unverified property scores nothing because it isn’t allowed in.
